What is the P-Shot® or Priapus Shot®?

The P-Shot® is a natural medical procedure that was developed by pioneer Doctor Charles Runels to help treat sexual dysfunction and provide enhanced sexual performance to men with symptoms of ED or Erectile Dysfunction (Male Impotence). Many middle aged men experience soft erections or impotence due to health, aging, prescription drug medications, diabetes, cardiovascular disease or hormonal imbalance like hypogonadism or Low T. Some of the first symptoms are weaker or softer erections and the loss of daily morning erections. You may benefit from this new advanced form of ED therapy using your own biological injections to enhance your sexual health and wellness. The P-Shot (Priapus Injections) may be used with testosterone for ED Erectile Dysfunction Therapy.

How the Priapus Shot® Works

The Priapus Shot® is a Penis Injection for Treating ED and Male Penis Enlargement

The Priapus Shot®procedure uses platelets from your own blood to help improve sexual function. The growth factors from your platelet-rich plasma* are extracted using a centrifuge from your blood and then injected into sexually responsive areas of your penis. It is a quick and almost painless medical procedure. There is little to no discomfort during the process as the physician uses a numbing cream. The P-Shot® takes about 15 to 20 minutes to perform and uses a very tiny needle. Because the procedure uses your own blood fluids called platelet rich fibrin matrix or PRFM, adverse reaction or side effects are minimized.

What are the Benefits of the Priapus Injection?

The potential benefits include improved circulation within the penis, stronger and more sustainable erections, and increased penile sensation, growth of new blood vessels and tissue growth that increases girth of the penis. These work together to enhance overall sexual satisfaction and performance. Each man’s treatment results vary depending upon the amount of platelet serum injected and current level of dysfunction being experienced prior to Priapus treatment.

The P-shot procedure is used to help with the following:
  • Firmer erections
  • More sustainable erections
  • Improved circulation and blood flow
  • Increased girth and length (results vary)
  • Improved sexual function and performance
  • Enhanced sensation and sexual satisfaction

When used with testosterone therapy and human growth hormone therapy, the P-shot® may help improve sexual health in men experiencing sexual dysfunction due to andropause and hormone deficiency.

The Priapus Shot® (P-Shot) Procedure

Steps of the Priapus Shot® for Men

  1. A numbing lidocaine cream is applied to the penis.
  2. Blood is drawn from the arm like a blood test.
  3. The blood is put in a centrifuge machine.
  4. The platelets are transferred into another tube.
  5. The platelets release growth factors into the liquid of the tube.
  6. The liquid is transferred into a syringe and injected into the penis using a tiny needle.
* Platelet-rich plasma (also known as PRP) is blood plasma that has been enriched with platelets. As a concentrated source of autologous platelets, PRP contains several different growth factors and other cytokines that stimulate healing of bone and soft tissue. PRP injection is widely used in wound healing and facial treatments.

The Priapus Shot® or P-Shot® is a Registered Trademark by Charles Runel, MD. Using blood-derived growth factors including platelet rich fibrin matrix to enhance the size or function of the penis. Non-invasive cosmetic medical procedure using blood-derived growth factors including platelet rich fibrin matrix to enhance the size or function of the penis.

Testosterone and Male Sexual Health

Testosterone is the hormone of desire. Testosterone is essential for having hard, firm erections while HGH helps increase sexual desire. Many men take testosterone injections, HCG injections and human growth hormone as part of a comprehensive TRT or Testosterone Replacement program. Both testosterone and HGH play an important role in a man's sexual health and libido. Men who have experienced sexual dysfunction due to androgen deficiency and then take testosterone - find a dramatic increase in sex drive, firmer, harder erections, sexual frequency and potency when combining a healthy lifestyle with hormone optimization. Testosterone Therapy is used to Treat ED or Male Impotence. Male HRT physicians will prescribe androgen medications and male steroid injections to boost low testosterone levels due to Andropause or hypogonadism. Low T levels that are contributing to erectile dysfunction can respond very well to testosterone replacement therapy. To learn more about injectable testosterone - visit the Testosterone Shots page; to explore HGH Therapy for Men, visit the Human Growth Hormone for Men page. HCG therapy also plays a role in increasing a man's natural sex hormone productions and many endocrinologists and urology doctors will prescribe HGH, learn how this hormone is used in TRT - HCG Injections and Male HRT.

How to Enlarge Penis Size?

Using the PRP technique, P-Shot or Lipen 10 penile filler, your physician can help you get a bigger and thicker penis by injecting the PRP like a filler in areas that help to enlarge penile tissue. Over time repeat penile treatments may be required but the added size can be visibly measured. Lipen 10 is a penile enlargement treatment combining dextran and polymethylmethacrylate as a mixture to be used as a tissue filler. Medical studies show Lipen 10 injections were well tolerated and effictive as a penile enhancement alternative. In one clinical study 20 adult males were injected into the subcutaneous tissue of the penile shaft and the girth and length were measured at 1 month, 3 month and 6 month intervals after the injection.

Before and After Penis Treatment with the P-Shot

. The before and after results of the penis treatment showed the circumference increased by about 3.7 cm at penile base, 4.2 cm at mid-shaft, and 3.8 cm at end of the penile shaft. Penis length increased by about 2.3. There were no clinically significant adverse side effects in the test subjects. The study demonstrated that Penile injections of Lipen-10 can lead to a significant increase in penile size, shows a good durability and is well-tolerated, without serious adverse side effects. These clinical results suggest that penile injection therapy using Lipen-10 may be a new effective method for penile enhancement for the right candidate. Some physicians also use hyaluronic acid which is similar to Restylane and Jebederm used in cosmetic facial rejuvenation. Penis enlargement or phalloplasty using hyaluronic acid injections is used for tissue engineering and shaping and is considered safer and less invasive than some other penile treatments. Some male enhancement physicians use silicone or the artefill which is permanent and therfore a more risky procedure than a more natural approach like PRP which uses a patient's own platelet rich blood plasma.

How are Penis shots Given?

Penile Injection Therapy. Penis shots for male enhancement, sexual performance and erectile dysfunction are given by the doctor in and around the penile tissue. Foe erectile medications, the side of the penile shaft is the correct place to insert the needle. Caverject from Pfizer is a popular penile treatment which also comes with a device for making the procedure fast and easy. The Penile injection video below shows how penis shots work.

The P-Shot is Like a Stem Cell Treatment for Erectile Dysfunction

Treatment for Erectile Dysfunction or ED is also called treatment for male impotence. ED is generally defined as repeated inability to have or maintain an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse. The actual term male impotence can also be sometimes used to describe other erectile issues that can interfere with sexual intercourse. Erectile dysfunction is a very specific diagnosis that makes it clear that other problems such as premature ejaculation and emotional barriers are not involved. Many male impotence patients may also have damage to blood arteries, muscles, nerves or tissues in penile area which can also lead to a diagnosis of penile dysfunction.

PRP, Priapus Shots and Stem Cells to treat ED can help solve the issues naturally and at its root via non-surgical penile enhancement and stem cell regeneration therapy similar to that of HGH Injections used for rapid tissue healing

Erectile Dysfunction Diagnosis

Most ED (Erectile Dysfunction) diagnosis can be attributed to the following medical health conditions and are treatable with P-shot, PRP, testosterone Low T Therapy for ED, and stem cell treatment for erectile dysfunction:

  • Diabetes
  • Neurological Diseases
  • Chronic Alcoholism or Drug Abuse
  • Kidney Disease
  • Heart Disease or Vascular Disease
  • Atherosclerosis
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Andropause (Hypogonadism)

How to Qualify for P-Shot Injections

Patients requesting ED medical treatments or Testosterone for Erectile Dysfunction must be clinically diagnosed with ED from a licensed Urologist or Endocrinologist.

How PRP P-Shot Stem Cells Treat Penile Dysfunction

Almost 65% of all men with Type I or II Diabetes experience some form of erectile dysfunction frequently. ED or male impotence is a serious male health problem that can have a negative impact on relationships and overall quality of life for men. It also directly affects and their sexual partners, especially when a complete inability to get an erection is part of the ED symptoms. The P-Shot ED treatment is similar to Stem Cell therapies used to increase tissue and joint healing, but instead is used to treat Erectile Dysfunction. ED Physicians and doctors will look the treat the main cause of your ED symptoms so any underlying medical condition such as Diabetes or Hypogonadism would be treated as part of your treatment protocol for ED.

Priapus Therapy P-Shot vs Male Enhancement Pills

The P-shot oofers a more natural, longer lasting ED treatment option. Pharmaceutical oral ED drugs or PDE5 inhibitors such as Viagra, Levitra and Cialis, are chemical based treatments for ED that may be unsafe for long term use. Medical research has shown that popular oral PDE5 phosphodiesterase inhibitors become less effective with long-term use, and may cause serious side-effects or coronary risks. The inefficiency or failure of Pharmaceutical oral ED treatment PDE5 inhibitors is common for patients with diabetes and men with extremely low testosterone levels.

P-Shot Stem Cell Erectile Dysfunction treatment may be able to help you. Contact our Men's Medical Health Center for more P-Shot ED Therapy information.
